Could Halo Reach and Halo ODST Be Next for Xbox One?

That is the big question videogamer.com asked developers 343 Industries in a recent interview.  The answer, “enough people have asked about it so we are thinking about it.”  With the November 14th release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection drawing ever nearer, Halo fans are beginning to get really excited about revisiting the Halo universe that they so loved.

Many of these same fans have been asking questions on what the chances 343 Industries would retool the last two Halo games.  Well, it seems the folks at 343 have at least taken notice.  Executive producer Dan Ayub said “it’s not in our development timeline, but we’ve heard that question so much that it has seeped into our collective subconscious.”  The door was at left wide-open for the remaining two games.

If I had to speculate, the success of the Master Chief Collection and Halo 5 will be the deciding factor on whether the last two Halo games are remade.  With the purchase of the Halo: Master Chief Collection you gain access to the Halo 5 beta, which starts on December 19th and lasts through January 18th.
