Halo: The Master Chief Collection Trailer Includes A Familiar Voice

If you’re like me and wonder, “Why is everybody getting excited for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One over exciting, new IP’s coming out in the months ahead?” The recent trailer for the game’s HD collection instantly told me why; because The Arbiter (and, by transitive property, Keith David) is awesome, and people would love to get a high definition experience of back when the Halo series produced unparalleled, must-have gameplay.

Though it is a short tease, the new Halo trailer shows off what two generations of advancements in Xbox console technology can do to visually enhance the cinematics of Halo 2. The Master Chief Collection is slated to feature the Anniversary editions of both Halo and Halo 2, while 3 and 4 will remain unmastered. Still, all games are set to feature 1080p and 60 FPS, meaning that 343 Industries and Bungie have done it again when it comes to tapping out as much power from their hardware as possible.

You can check out the new Halo: The Master Chief trailer at the top of the page, or keep the experience fresh by going on a self-imposed video-media blackout until the game is released on November 11th here in North America. The UK release is set for November 14.
