Super Smashing Sale Week 2: Zelda, Fire Emblem & More

It’s not every day that Nintendo sees its wares go on sale, so when Nintendo recently announced the Super Smashing Sale in order to drum up interest in the upcoming release ofSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, it came as quite a surprise. The Week 1 sales have come and gone, and now in Week 2 we will see a great deal of Zelda, Mega Man and other games go on salethrough the eShop.

This week’s offerings for the Super Smashing Sale:

3DS

  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds($29.99, was $39.99)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons($3.99, was $5.99)
  • Fire Emblem Awakening($29.99, was $39.99)
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising($24.99, was $34.99)
  • Mega Man, Mega Man 2($3.49, was $4.99)

Wii U

  • Mega Man X, Mega Man X2($4.99, was $7.99)
  • Kid Icarus($3.49, was $4.99)

More from 3DS

While there are no deep-ish sales cuts this week for the Wii U (where last week sawSuper Mario 3D Worldat $39.99, which was down $20 and 33% off), any time in which someone can grab the first two entries in theMega Man Xseries for less than the price of a ticket for a movie theater is always a deal worth taking.

Next week’s featured challengers for the Super Smashing Sale includes Lucario, Pikachu, Charizard and Greninja, indicating a likely sale of the Pokemon X & Y titles. However, with Samus, Zero Suit Samus and Mii Fighters included, Nintendo can take the sale to a ton of great new directions. This week’s sales last only until September 18th, so act now if you want to get in on these deals on Nintendo games!
