Nintendo UK Unveils Special Edition Smash Bros. 3DS XL
Had your fingers crossed waiting for a special edition system for Smash Brothers for 3DS? Well, your prayers have been answered… if you live across the pond, that is. Nintendo UK revealed this new design for the Nintendo 3DS earlier today, which is available for preorder at the official Nintendo UK website. As all special edition systems have so far, it comes pre-loaded with a digital copy of its game, in this case the new Super Smash Bros. title for the 3DS, which has unfortunately not received a better name than “Super Smash Bros. for 3DS.” Not very creative, guys.

That aside, it is a pretty neat design, and hopefully it will make its way to places that *aren’t* the UK sooner rather than later. Special edition designs have become a more global affair lately, so time will tell if this finds its way over to North American shores.
