If you’re not quite sure what this event is all about; Evo is a massive gathering of FGC members from around the world, competing in several fighting video games that a majority see use the double elimination tournament structure (two losses and you’re out). Evo 2014 concludes tournament action with Day 3, and this year’s remaining events are as follows (in no particular order):
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Ultra Street Fighter IV
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Killer Instinct
- BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 finals is where viewership will either begin to rise or will continue to hold, as winner’s bracket consists ofJanvs.Filipino ChampandJustin Wongvs.Flocker. The loser’s bracket is made up ofChrisGvs.MarnandRayRayvs.Insaynne. Finally, as always, Evo 2014 will end the weekend with Ultra Street Fighter IV, as a slew of “the new guard” players trying to make a name for themselves as usual favorites Infiltration, Daigo, Takido, Xian and Justin Wong are already out of the running.
