Evo 2014 Day 3 is the one block you cannot miss, as we will see Finals of 5 major fighting video games and some video game announcements near the end of the night.

If you’re not quite sure what this event is all about; Evo is a massive gathering of FGC members from around the world, competing in several fighting video games that a majority see use the double elimination tournament structure (two losses and you’re out). Evo 2014 concludes tournament action with Day 3, and this year’s remaining events are as follows (in no particular order):
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Ultra Street Fighter IV
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Killer Instinct
- BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma

Evo 2014 Finals day kicks off with BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma. N-O vs. Garileo and Yoshiki vs. Dogura make up winner’s bracket, while Tiku vs. Tochigin and sG vs. Dora are the ones making up the loser’s bracket. Killer Instinct Finals follow, with Justin Wong vs CD jr and Tswagg vs. Rico Suave forming the winner’s bracket and Gutter Magic vs. Pretty E and My God 88 vs. Mr Grimmmz just scraping by in the loser’s bracket. Mango vs. Mew2king and Armada vs. Hungrybox make up the winner’s bracket for Super Smash Bros. Melee Finals, with Fly Amanita vs. PPMD and Axe vs. Silent Wolf making up the loser’s bracket.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 finals is where viewership will either begin to rise or will continue to hold, as winner’s bracket consists of Jan vs. Filipino Champ and Justin Wong vs. Flocker. The loser’s bracket is made up of ChrisG vs. Marn and RayRay vs. Insaynne. Finally, as always, Evo 2014 will end the weekend with Ultra Street Fighter IV, as a slew of “the new guard” players trying to make a name for themselves as usual favorites Infiltration, Daigo, Takido, Xian and Justin Wong are already out of the running. Winner’s bracket is Snake Eyes vs. Fuudo and Gacht vs. Bonchan, and loser’s bracket consists of Luffy vs. Momochi and Ricky Ortiz vs. Sakonoko.
