First off, the Gamecube controller itself will be priced at $29.99. The adaptor will be released for $19.99. Finally, a Wii U Smash Bros bundle that contains the controller, the adaptor and Super Smash Bros for Wii U will cost your $99.99.
With the fighting game community in mind, the peripherals seem to be unnecessary to those who want to experience the core gameplay with the Wii U Pro controller. However, as the Gamecube controller is one of my favorites of all time, it may be tempting to pick up.
All of these peripherals, including the Wii U Smash Bros bundle, will become available for sale once Super Smash Bros for Wii U is released for sale.
