Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Comes To 3DS Sept. 16th
I’m sure when the original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy was announced, there was some head scratching. A Final Fantasy music game? But Final Fantasy also has some of the best and most memorable game tunes of all time, so when you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense. I have the game and it’s fun to bust out and just play a few levels every now and again.

Square Enix has now announced that the sequel, with the ridiculously long title of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, will hit the 3DS September 16th. For those who are true hardcore fans, there will be a limited collector’s edition of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call available through their online site. This version will contain what you see in the above image, which is a Theatrhythm-themed 3DS carrying pouch, a 20-track Curtain Call soundtrack CD and five collectible cards featuring artwork from the game. This version retails for $69.99. If you want to pony up the extra gil, better act quick because there will only be 5,000 copies available.
Those who pre-order the standard edition of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will get a nice little bonus as well, as they will be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition, which will come with a five-track CD that features remixes from the game’s soundtrack.
This will probably be perfect for me because at the rate I’m going, September is when I’ll finally get around finishing Bravely Default, and I’ll be looking for for something new to pop into my 3DS.
