Super Smash Bros Wii U Modes Likely Leaked By Amazon

facebooktwitterreddit

If an official product description of Super Smash Bros Wii U on Amazon is to be believed, we could have more game modes in store than what has already been teased. In the product description section, it lists features coming to the Wii U version of the party fighting game, with some that have not been confirmed to this date. (Bold emphasis is mine)

"Take on all comers as Mario, Mega Man, Sonic, and more gaming greats. Or tap an amiibo* to the Wii U GamePad controller to train it up by battling with or against it. You can even pit your amiibo against a friends’ to see how your training methods stack up. Whether you’re creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there’s no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived."

More from Rumor

That’s right, the stage building mode from Super Smash Bros Brawl looks to make a return to Super Smash Bros Wii U. Notably, though, with the use of the GamePad to do so suggests a Mario Maker-style feature to create such stages. Additionally, the challenges by Master Hand and Crazy Hand seem to partially confirm rumors we had already heard about those two. However, what I find more interesting is the board game mode. While I’m not sure exactly how that mode would work out, imagine the possibilities. We could have a very fun type of Smash x Mario Party-type mode on our hands!

We at GameSided will reach out to Nintendo for comment, and will update the story as it happens. Super Smash Bros Wii U will be released exclusively for…well, Wii U, on November 21st.
