Are you counting down to E3 2014? We are here at Gamesided! Every day this week, we’ll take a look at one of the five companies that holds a Monday press briefing (or Tuesday, in Nintendo’s case) to help kick off the event in the same order that you’ll see them from Los Angeles. Today we enter Day 3 with Ubisoft.

More from Features

Ubisoft is just one of those companies that always manages to have solid a press conference during E3. This year is expected to be no different.

They just had a very successful launch of their new IP Watch Dogs, and will look to use that as momentum for their media briefing.

So let’s jump right into things:

Things I’m sure we’ll see from the Ubisoft briefing

Assassin’s Creed Unity

The most popular franchise for Ubisoft is Assassin’s Creed, and the next iteration in the stealth series will take place in the French Revolution.

This is right in Ubisoft’s backyard, and I’m sure they will do it proud. Assassin’s Creed Unity might have a more personal feel to the game, considering where it takes place.

Far Cry 4

When Ubisoft released Far Cry 3 about two years ago, it was a stellar shooter that had plenty of good mechanics built into the game.

The new title will take place in a Himalayan region, and promises to be an immersive experience.

Other than Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 is expected to be the main point of emphasis during the briefing for Ubisoft.

The Crew

This is another open-world title from Ubisoft,  but it’s about driving around the U.S. in various cars. There will also be an online component as well, where friends can take on challenges together.

This title has enormous potential, and I’m excited what Ubisoft has in store for it.

The Division

Ubisoft unveiled this game last year at E3, and it looked impressive. The shooter has the look of classic Tom Clancy titles, with great action and strategy.

Things I think we’ll see at the Ubisoft briefing

I do think they will talk more about Watch Dogs, mentioning something about DLC and what’s in store for the future.

Things I hope we’ll see at the Ubisoft briefing

Ubisoft is always working on something new, and I’m personally looking forward to see them show a new IP in development.

It would great if they announced a new Prince of Persia title for next-gen systems, or even showed a teaser for a new Splinter Cell game.

Ubisoft always manages to have one of the better press conferences at E3, and it should be great to see what they announce.
