While Madden 25 is a job for us content creators, it isn't supposed to feel like one for everybody else. Madden streamer JokerCale revealed his struggle to hit Level 50 in Madden Ultimate Team on his X account:

I get that Madden wants us to log in every day, but that turns playing the game into a chore to be done rather than a thing to enjoy. And heaven forbid you want to play any other live service games. Now I have to look at the objectives when the season starts and decide whether I will even attempt to play the game that much.

We're having a banner year for sports games, but grinds like this one take all the fun out of them. As single player modes get less and less of the focus, this problem is getting worse and worse. If a stream whose fulltime job is playing Madden struggles to hit Level 50, what chance does someone with a normal job have?

Also, I should mention that several of the objectives needed to level up are defensive. As I've been reporting on all Madden season, its defense launched in a disastrous state. A patch finally made defenders actually defend things, but now a new offensive glitch has shifted the balance of power again.

And as many are pointing out, the rewards don't even seem worth the grind. Many of the cards you'll get from that path are already obsolete or will be in a couple of week's time.
