GTA V Gets a New Free Expansion, Not Available on PS3 and Xbox 360

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners get ready for some new content. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners; get ready for some disappointing news.

A new free expansion pack for GTA V was announced today for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The new update will be available for download on December 15 and is centered around customizable houses, apartments and a brand new top-of-the-line Super Yacht (Yes, the Yacht can be customized to your liking as well).

Along with the new add-ons, members of the GTA online community now have the ability to dive into new co-op Jobs and challenges. Also, players who create their own operation (VIP’s) are now granted with the power to hire and fire other players as their bodyguards. In addition, bodyguards now gain unique stat boots for working with VIP operations.

Assembled groups can go head-to-head via Freemode and engage in a new styles of combat. A new Extraction mode is also available to play. Think of it as guarding your prized ring leader and trying to him or her from point A to B without getting gunned down by the opposition.

With new weapons, vehicles and added online content, there is more than enough reason to stay immersed in GTA’s online world.

Rockstar continues to be one of the most popular and well-liked companies among gamers for their willingness to deliver fresh content a full year after the release of GTA V on next-gen consoles.
