With just two weeks to go until the release of Star Wars Battlefront, we’ve had our first look at the game’s planet of Jakku. Those who opt-in to pre-order the game will receive access to Jakku a week early on December 1st, while everyone else will have to wait until December 8th to get their hands on it. With this in mind, EA have released a small teaser trailer which gives us a glimpse of the chaotic action that lies ahead on the planet.

Set 29 years before the events of the highly-anticipated seventh film in the Star Wars franchise, Battlefront will make its mark in the Star Wars canon by revealing what led to the “battle-scarred landscape” on Jakku, as seen in The Force Awakens.
The trailer reveals all-out carnage, featuring a battlefield full of troops, vehicles, and a giant star destroyer, among others. There will be two maps based on the planet when it’s released, with no mention of whether this will increase over time.
It’s hard to believe that we are now just two weeks away from the release of the game. If you’re like me and you’re craving some Star Wars action as soon as possible, Xbox One owners will have the unique opportunity of sampling a 10-hour trial of the game from November 12th through the EA Access platform.
For everyone else, Star Wars Battlefront will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 17, 2015. Will you be pre-ordering? Let us know your thoughts below.
