Konami Releases Teaser Trailer For PES 2016

Pro Evolution Soccer will be back again this year as the series celebrates its 20th year in existence. Konami will be revealing the full details about the game on June 12th, but they’ve given us a teaser trailer in the meantime to wet our appetite.
The video is set to a backdrop of Queen’s – We Will Rock You, a song which is synonymous with long-term PES fans, harking back to the opening intro video from Pro Evolution Soccer 2.

From there, we are presented with some gameplay and player celebrations, which even includes a player taking a selfie.
Neymar Jr. is prominently featured in the new trailer, as he has been revealed as the cover star of this year’s game. In Konami’s press release, he commented on his delight to be the star of this year’s title.
“The series has long been praised for its sheer level of control and utter realism and I am delighted to be working with such a talented team as Konami.”
There’s a lot of positive buzz surrounding PES this year. PES 2015 was a true return to form for the series, which had previously been struggling ever since it originally transitioned to the 7th console generation.
