Telltale’s Game of Thrones Episode 2 Gets Release Dates

Taking the steps required to avoid the problems plaguing the delay between The Wolf Among Us’ first and second episodes’ releases, Telltale Games has announced the release dates for Game of Thrones Episode 2, The Lost Lords. It comes part and parcel with a new trailer, going through the critical accolades that the first episode received. For those who own the season pass of Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones, PC/PS4/PS3 owners can expect Episode 2 to drop on February 3rd. Those who own the Xbox One or Xbox 360 versions can expect the digital download the following day, on February 4th. Finally, iOS and Android users can expect The Lost Lords to reach their mobile platforms on February 5th.

Today’s trailer lends its strength to the star power of its voice acting cast. Developed in conjunction with HBO, we hear excellent turns from Kit Harrington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and more. From what I can tell (purposefully avoiding the new episodes until the entire season is complete), the focus on the Forresters both contrasts against the HBO show’s offering while filling in the blanks as to what the bannermen of the North are doing during the time of war in Westeros. Hopefully, any interactions and story conflicts don’t interfere with the canon established throughout each year’s broadcasted 10-episode runs.
