GTA V PC Version Delayed, System Requirements Revealed
Even as early as last year, it looked grim for prospects that the GTA V PC release would be delayed. Those fears has been confirmed today by Rockstar Games, who have announced that the updated PC release date for Grand Theft Auto V will be pushed back to March 24th. That will be the same day that Bloodborne is released on the PS4, showing From Software’s bad luck of releasing their games against sales and marketing juggernauts.

The reason for the GTA V PC release delay given was for “a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be.” As a reminder of the benefits of playing the game on a PC, Rockstar would like to remind you GTA Online can support up to 30 players on one map and will feature GTA Online Heists at launch. Plus, with promotional screenshots rendered at 4k resolution, it will definitely show the game at its visual best.
Speaking of, here are the GTA V PC system requirements necessary to run the game at a minimum and at the recommended optimum output.
Minimum:
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2* (*NVIDIA video card recommended if running Vista OS)

Memory: 4GB
Video Card: NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB / AMD HD 4870 1GB (DX 10, 10.1, 11)

Recommended:
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs)

That’s right, at a whopping 65 GB hard drive requirement, the GTA V PC version may require the most allotted space solely dedicated for video gaming yet (non-simulator category). It makes Titanfall’s 48GB requirement (with 35 GB of uncompressed audio) look like chump change! It may be Rockstar’s most ambitious open world yet, but this surpasses the size of some SDD totals!
GTA V is already available on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360, while the PC version is now scheduled for March 24th.
