2 – Dragon Age: Inquisition (58 points)

After a critically-mixed outing with Dragon Age II, BioWare had to go back to the drawing board. Thankfully, they found an answer for many who love absolutely ginormous open worlds, and the questing lines that spawn from them. Dragon Age: Inquisition incorporates real-time-with-pause tactical combat in an enchanted world with magical beasts and wonderous dragons. With a narrative that can carry a game for hours upon end, the majesty of this title knows no bounds.

In his review of the game, Eric wrote: “In essence, despite a few nagging issues, Dragon Age: Inquisition manages to be the most impressive entry in the series yet with a great battle system, and a massive and fun world to explore that could easily take over 100 hours to complete, and is easily the best console RPG this year.”
