GameSided Game of the Year 2014 | Honorable Mentions
T-20 – The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth / Forza Horizon 2 (6 points)
One is a Roguelike sequel to an Indie/Twitch streaming instant classic, the other is the second Forza racing game in the same year for the Xbox One. Both share a similar entry at the bottom of this list; single 5th place votes. That shouldn’t be a knock on either of these titles, as each series has cult followings in their own unique right.
On Forza Horizon, review Jon McSwain wrote: “I had an absolutely fantastic time playing Forza Horizon 2. I really can’t reiterate that enough. Much to my surprise, it is so much more than just another racing game and will bring hours of competitive gaming. Forza Horizon 2 is a highly addicting adrenaline rush that never lets off the gas. It is a competitive and social stratosphere where you can constantly improve your skills, master new races, beat your friends, all while exploring the magnificent world that is Forza Horizon 2.
