The Order 1886 Receives New Gameplay Video

Not wanting to give too much away before their own PlayStation Experience promotional event, Scott Rohde came on stage to The Game Awards 2014 to provide a brief glimpse of The Order: 1886 gameplay footage.

Starting off at Chapter V, “Agamemnon Rises,” our Victorian-era protagonist are seen sliding down the side of an airship, after getting dropped off by another airship. Struggles ensue, people are killed and letterboxes letterbox the hell out of the frame of view. Meanwhile, back on the ground, a tense standoff gets deadly when sabotage comes into play. Thankfully, you have friends in high vantage places.

Honestly, this new Order: 1886 footage seems a little dry, even if we do get to see more of the game’s scenery beyond “dark, damp British alleyway.” Sony should be saving up more of their supernatural-slaying bullets for tomorrow, however, so make sure to look out for more of that as gameplay videos start to make their way out during the PlayStation Experience.
