Canadian Videogame Awards Winners: Ubisoft Shines
Last night at the Carlu in downtown Toronto, the Canadian Videogame Awards were handed out to celebrate the achievements of 2013 and 2014 in Canadian video gaming development and production. November 7th marked the cutoff date for releases eligible for vote, therefore titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition, from BioWare in Edmonton, Alberta, did not make the cut.

For those not in attendance or didn’t watch on Twitch, the winners of the Canadian Videogame Awards were announced on the official Twitter account, but I’ll make sure to include the full list down below for each year and category after making some notes. For example, it seems odd to me that Watch Dogs received the award for Best Technology, especially with its numerous glitches at and post-launch. It was just a part of Ubisoft blistering through the competition on their way to nabbing about 16 of the 57 awards in total.
Here is the full list of winners for the Canadian Videogame Awards.
