Ori & The Blind Forest has been delayed until “early 2015”, in a statement released on developer Moon Studios’ website.

More from News

"So far, we’ve given you small glimpses of Ori at E3, Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show and we’re looking forward to inviting you on this journey when we’ll be releasing Ori and the Blind Forest Early 2015 exclusively for Xbox One and PC."

Moon Studios also said they needed “just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to – what [they] hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience”.

It’s worth noting that the statement only makes mention of the Xbox One & PC versions. Ori & The Blind Forest. The game was also originally announced for the Xbox 360 as well, which might indicate that version has been cancelled.

Granted, Ori & The Blind Forest isn’t a huge AAA game, but it’s a unique title for the Xbox One that is garnering huge interest. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we can get our hands on it.
