Mario Kart 8 DLC pack #1 will include a new F-Zero Mute City Track as well as F-Zero cars for characters (man, I’d love to play a true F-Zero game now) and Link, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Peach arrives as a playable character. Other features include a Hyrule circuit alongside Triforce tires and Hylian Kite as well as an ExciteBike Track that features a rotating cast of jumps each time you play it.

In addition, Nintendo will be adding Amiibo support to Mario Kart 8 allowing for you to use Amiibo character masks on your Mii characters in the game. This updates provides a bit of levity as your Mii character looks a bit ridiculous sporting various headdresses of Nintendo characters in the game.

Mario Kart 8 is currently available for Wii U and DLC Pack Number One will be available November 13, 2014. Happy racing!
