Masahiro Sakurai loves to mess with Super Smash Bros fans, particularly byposting screenshotsthat hint at new content but blur out the really meaty information. This time, though, his screenshot tells us everything he wants us to know.In a post to Miiverse, Sakurai teases a secret smash fighter that, under close scrutiny, isn’t all that secret at this point.
I won’t spoil which character that is under the blur for you, (hint: it’s one that we already know is in the game) but unless Sakurai is being insanely tricky, the gun really gives it away. But what’s really interesting about this is that the Wii U version gives characters reveal videos! Just like in Brawl! The further we get into the run-up to Super Smash Bros Wii U, the more apparent it becomes that this game will be an entirely different animal than the3DS version. Perhaps the confirmation of reveal videos also indicates some sort of adventure mode, like Brawl had.
