Sunset Overdrive Also Gets An Xbox One Bundle
Once, twice, three times a bundle! Microsoft took to the stage at gamescom 2014 to give their Xbox Media Briefing, where they revealed their third upcoming Xbox One bundle. It’s for Sunset Overdrive, which will look to separate itself from the field of upcoming packaged console deals.
More from Microsoft
- Killer Instinct: Season 3 Release Date Is Set
- Ori And The Blind Forest Definitive Edition Adds Depth, Beauty
- Xbox Live: Games With Gold March 2016
- New Xbox One, App February Updates On The Way
- Rocket League Heads To Xbox One Next Week
The main reason it can do so; because the Sunset Overdrive bundle will be coming with a white Xbox One console instead of the traditional black version that comes with the other bundles, is sold separately or is being designed with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in mind.
It’s a big deal for Insomniac, as this is their first title coming to an Xbox console. For it to become a bundle not only solidifies their new partnership with Microsoft, but may help boost the sales of the Xbox One. Q4 2014 (October 1 – December 31) is fairly light on single-platform exclusives, with Sunset Overdrive being one of the few games to commit to the Xbox One.
Sunset Overdrive will be released exclusively on the Xbox One starting October 28th, with a bundle available for pre-order now. We’ll be here covering the events and news coming out of gamescom 2014 all week, so stick with us at GameSided!
