Now this is one remaster I can really get behind. Sleeping Dogs was a pretty fantastic game that came out in 2012, but sadly despite high critical praise, did not sell very well. Over the last two years though, it’s definitely grown at least a pretty strong cult following.

Now it looks like Square Enix is looking to capitalize on that following and hopefully grow the audience with a remastered edition of Sleeping Dogs that will include all the dlc coming to Xbox One on October 14th.
I’m not sure about the timing of the release, as even with all the recent delays, October is still jam-packed with releases. That being said, I hope this spurs enough sales for interest in a sequel, as Sleeping Dogs was easily one of the best games of the last generation that never really got the recognition it deserved in terms of sales.
