Well, at the very least famed Japanese games series will have more titles heading to the PS4. AsGematsureports, SEGAwill be announcinga newYakuzagame that will be coming to the PS4 and PS3. Unlike the recently-locally-releasedYakuza: Ishin, this newest entry won’t be a spin-off. The announcement will come on August 24th at 9 PM Japanese Standard Time.

And with this announcement comes the inevitable disappointment when Sega doesn’t bring the newYakuzagame over to the West with localization due to poor sales. I mean, I understand where they’re coming from, especially when it comes to ginormous open world games with a very Japan-centric feel, cultural build and sensibility. Translating all of the little dialogues, signage and making it easier to understand things like Pachinko can be quite expensive.
