Development ofHomefront: The Revolutionwill continue at Deep Silver Dambuster Studio, a Nottingham-based studio created by Deep Silver. No word as of yet on whether any Crytek UK staff would be transferring over to that new studio to assist in the development ofHomefront: The Revolution.
“We strongly believe in the potential of Homefront: The Revolution and trust in the new team to continue the path they have been walking in the last years,” said Deep Silver CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz.
Where this leaves Crytek UK isn’t completely clear, but asHomefront: The Revolutionwas the only known title they were working on, if they don’t have anything else currently in the works, their newly acquired capital may just be staving off the inevitable studio closure.
