SDCC 2014: Dead Rising 3 Releases on September 5 For PC
Even though the game itself will be capped at 30 FPS without some major tinkering by the modding community, nevertheless there is still interest among fans of the Dead Rising series who do not own an Xbox One console to be able to play the game on PC. Now they know when that can be done, as Siliconera reports from San Diego Comic-Con 2014 that the PC version of Dead Rising 3 (appropriately named “Apocalypse Edition”) has been announced to go on sale starting September 5th.

The PC release of Dead Rising 3 comes with some bonuses, hoping to entice double dip purchases or those who skipped getting the game the first time. Each copy will include commentary from artists, producers and designers who created the game, the Brady Games Dead Rising 3 strategy guide, digital art book and some of the game’s previously-released DLC. Plus, there’s the benefit that it (hopefully) won’t drop the framerate into the teens, like when the game first came out for the Xbox One.
Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition is headed exclusively for the PC on September 5th. The game is still available for the Xbox One at online and at store retailers near you.
