Media Molecule Trips Acid To Promote…Something
Media Molecule is working on something. What that could be is quite uncertain right now, but thankfully the Sony subsidiary released a teaser to promote their upcoming PS4 project. Unfortunately, after watching the light show that is the promo video, we’re still left none the wiser as to what’s actually going on.

The first half utilizes stop motion animation, as a jar full of “molecules” (paper cutouts of Media Molecule staffers’ heads) is dipped into a pot of boiling water, which produces the cooked result of the “Mm” logo. From there, we can see text that reveals Part 1 of making games is to “embrace your mistakes.” From there, all we can see is flashing lights, silhouettes of faces and an almost clay-like models of a face, one that looks to be the old man from the initial PS4 tech demo.
All I know is that there’s very little to off of, but it’s a fairly intriguing video, nonetheless. Perhaps we’ll see an official reveal at gamescom 2014, as my curiosity is piqued. If whatever PS4 game Media Molecule creates is half as artistic as this teaser, then they might have something worth playing.
