Rebellion has announced via press release the creation and upcoming release schedule of free and paid DLC for the recently-release
Sniper Elite III.
In addition to a free multiplayer map called Airstrip that is already available, the British developers have also revealed a three-part single player (and eventual co-op) paid DLC campaign called “Save Churchill.”

Part 1 of 3, “In Shadows,” seesSniper Elite IIIplayers traverse through a night time re-imagining of Siwa, but the next two entries in the mini-series will utilize completely new North African environments. The overarching goal is to prevent an assassination attempt of Prime Minister Winston Churchill by the Nazi, leading up to the 1943 Casablanca Conference.
Although it’s great to see more campaign content to be released, as well as free multiplayer content, the current season pass scheme is a little bit disappointing. TheSniper Elite IIIseason passcurrently costs $29.99, which is about 60% of the cost of the full game. It charges for the pre-order bonus “Target Hitler” DLC that came at launch, meaning that if you pre-ordered the game you would be double-dipping on something that should be free if it’s available Day 1. Furthermore, most of the value in money saved comes in weapon packs and skins, with all paid campaign content adding up to $30.99.
