Octodad: Dadliest Catch ‘Shorts’ DLC Coming Free This Summer
What’s freer than free? Young Horses have just released a short promotional video for Octodad: Dadliest Catch, announcing that DLC “Shorts” will be released this summer for no additional cost.

The Octodad extra content is specifically named “Shorts” because that’s truly what it is; a collection of short stories that tell the backstory of our lovable protagonist. (Who is totally not an Octopus at all, guys. Seriously.) The two promotional pictures provided by the developers show off Octodad and Scarlet’s first date, as well as Octodad acting as a nurse practitioner in a hospital. You absolutely need opposable thumbs to perform basic operations, so no worries for our human protagonist!
Over 40 new objectives, under 4 new songs, 0 stealth missions and over 20 breakable plates have been promised in the upcoming free Octodad DLC, coming to all platforms available. That means that not only the Steam version will be updated, but the PS4 version will also see “Shorts” come to their platforms for free. With Octodad currently on sale for 40% off on Steam, now is the time to get in on all the blurb-title action ahead of the DLC release later this summer.
