PS4 Launch Title, Contrast, Coming To Xbox One June 26
It looks like yet another title has evaded the parity clause that goes on within ID@Xbox! The Twitter account for former PS4 launch title, Contrast, announced yesterday that the puzzle platformer will be coming to Microsoft’s 8th-gen console sooner than you’d think.
Alright alright alright... Contrast is coming to Xbox One on Thursday 26 June! Ie, in two days. How exciting!

It continues the trend of timed consoles exclusives for the PS4 making their way to the Xbox One, and vice versa. It’s nothing new; it’s been going on for years, and extends to the likes of exclusive content for Sony and Microsoft consoles. Sometimes, even said content becomes free and available for all consoles involved. For Contrast, we’ll have to see how soon, if at all, the game will hit the Xbox One Games With Gold program. The game’s handling of shadow traversal brings an intriguing element to the platforming genre, but at $14.99 it still leaves more to be desired.
