Yoshinori Ono Resigns From Capcom Vancouver
Yoshinori Ono, the exuberant man who executively produced the Street Fighter series, has announced on Twitter that he has stepped down from his current role over at Capcom Vancouver.
While we hope everything is personally okay with Mr. Ono, the dream, from the Street Fighter fan’s position, is that he will return to work on an upcoming title for next-generation consoles. With Ultra Street Fighter IV just being released ahead of Evo 2014, it would be a perfect time to plan for the popular fighting game series’ future.

Additionally, he could be returning to Japan to work on Deep Down with Capcom Online Games. Although, with a supposed 2014 release date, one would wonder what help Yoshinori Ono could provide so late into the game’s development. However, with an ongoing free-to-play model, everything is up in the air.
Either way, we wish Yoshinori Ono the best and hope he gets back to helping to create video games once again in the near future.
