As you can see, it’s dark, chaotic, grimy, and really, really violent. For comparison, here is the original reveal trailer for Lily Bergamo that was released last year:
It’s difficult to see how this became the game announced at E3. Admittedly, there isn’t much to go on to really know what Lily Bergamo would have been, but as a fan of its cleaner aesthetic, the end result is a bit of a shame. Style is what creative mind Goichi Suda, who goes by the moniker Suda 51, is known for as his games tend to be lacking in other ways. We’ll need to see more of this game to determine if it will be able to stand out from the crowd.
