Even though gameplay had already been shown during the Microsoft media briefing, Tom Clancy’s The Division was also demoed live during the Ubisoft media briefing.

Instead of jumping right into the middle of the action, Ubisoft decided to show audience members exactly how the outbreak that overtakes New York on that one fateful Black Friday with a story trailer, one that captures the mood and story of modern day right up to apocalyptic hell in the manner of three weeks.
Honestly, as much as gameplay trailers are recommended and preferred, it’s great to see The Division story take center stage, figuratively and literally. Even though the game will be coming out in 2015, I’ve never been more interested in this open-world shooter RPG than after tonight.
Tom Clancy’s The Division will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One next year.
