Sunset Overdrive just held up a mirror to the audience at the Xbox: Game On media briefing by showing off a trailer and gameplay footage, along with an October 28 release date.
What started off as a parody of action-packed FPS trailers, showing a dire hero held back behind crates, turned into our customizable Sunset Overdrive hero injecting color into the usual brown-and-bloom stylings of games like Call of Duty.
Contanimated energy drinks has taken over Sunset City, turning them into ghouls. It’s up to you to skate around rails as if it were Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, shooting all your enemies with exciting very and colorful weapons, with a variety of weapon effects.
