EA Sports UFC
EA Sports started off their sports portion of E3 2014 with showing a feature on Bruce Lee with some current UFC champions such as Jon Jones and Anthony Pettis talking about Bruce Lee.
They then showed a fight between B.J. Penn and Bruce Lee. The demo showed off the fluidity of the gameplay and it is a huge improvement from the last installment. They showed off a new submission system and Bruce Lee went on to kick B.J. Penn in the head to win the fight.
EA Sports UFC will be available on June 17, 2014 for Xbox One and Playstation 4.
FIFA 15
For FIFA 15, they emphasized more emotion. Emotional intelligence was showcased as the player having a “memory” of sorts. Players now will show a sort of rivalry if they continue to scuffle with the same player over and over again.
They have added even more agility features that improve momentum and agility and make it more true to life.
The Dynamic Matchday Presentation feature is going to make you feel like you are playing in the biggest stadiums of the world with more atmospheric noise from the crowd that is closer to real life.
The Living Pitch feature that they mentioned showcased kits now getting dirty when they slide, corner flags moving when hit, and post shots rattling the net.
Overall, it looks like they are putting more attention to the presentation of the game and I am 100% fine with that.
FIFA 15 launches in September on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will also launch with older features on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS, and PS Vita.
