E3 2014: BioWare Announces New Mass Effect, Unnamed IP
BioWare introduced two new games at a very basic level during the E3 2014 EA media briefing.
The first is a new Mass Effect game. It’s not officially titled, so we don’t know if it will be called Mass Effect 4. However, it did offer some insight into the revamped nature of the game, and that the game will be worked on by BioWare Montreal. That means an entirely new development team will be working on the game, offering a new perspective on the third-person RPG shooter.

BioWare Edmonton (aka, BioWare proper) will be working on an entirely new IP, with absolutely no new information provided whatsoever. It actually served as a fairly sizeable waste of time. “Contemporary stories,” big worlds, cities, characters, “a fictional world that feels real.” No mention of what type of game they are creating. We hope to have a trailer for the behind-the-scenes-style video of what BioWare is offering soon.
