Games with Gold is Now Working on Xbox One

Now, for the first time, the Games with Gold program is working for both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. According to Major Nelson, the games are now available for download. The Xbox One games are Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.

In addition, for those with Xbox Live, they can also purchase Crimson Dragon at 50% off the regular price. I haven’t played Crimson Dragon, but it will be hard to pass up at such a value. Xbox is positioning itself nicely for a solid end to 2014 with the recent option of purchasing the Xbox One sans Kinect and the addition of Games with Gold. Microsoft continues to broaden the value of their console and shrink the disparity between the PS4.
