5. Halo 3

It can’t be a top 10 list without Master Chief making an appearance.

There have been six games in the Halo series released for the Xbox 360, but none come close to the game’s gen-three debut in 2007.

The game gave players an awesome story that teased the end of the series, but still gave you a teaser to Halo 4 if you completed it on legendary mode. It also featured the addition of two new features to the game that have become staples of the game’s multiplayer mode: a map editor (Forge Mode) that I spent countless hours messing with and theater mode which allowed you to share gameplay with friends.

To this day, Halo 3 remains the best all-around Halo game released on the Xbox 360.
