Hyrule Warriors Getting Its Own Nintendo Direct Next Week

It’s clear that Nintendo is pushing Hyrule Warriors for SummerSlam profitability for the upcoming financial quarter, as the company has announced on Twitter early this morning that the Hylian Mosuo game will be getting its own Nintendo Direct event next week. Specifically, it will be streamed at the following link on August 4th at 8 PM Pacific Time, 11 PM Eastern Time, 4 AM UK time and 5 AM CET.

Being hosted by Nintendo of America, my guess is that we’ll receive a full list of playable characters and other unknown secrets along the way. Having played Hyrule Warriors myself for a bit at a recent Nintendo Post-E3 event (first impressions going up later in the week), I can say that the widespread interest in a new Zelda game of any kind is definitely in the hearts and minds of Nintendo fans. Plus, so far the Japanese gaming giant has done a good job of shielding fans’ awareness that it’s a Dynasty Warriors game with different object, setting and character skins. That’s a task in of itself.

Hyrule Warriors will be released exclusively on the Wii U this September 26th, and you can check out the game’s Nintendo Direct event next week on August 4th here in North America.
