Sitting down in electric chairs throughout The Evil Within will allow main protagonist Sebastian access to increasing his base stats, abilities and more. Health, sprint time, syringe recovery are all things that can be improved upon, and will help you take on the ghastly creatures that will try to kill you in this survival horror title.

Additionally, we learn that The Evil Within will promote exploration and discovery, netting players extra supplies necessary to complete the game. We also see the game’s main antagonist, as it appears that running from “Ruvic” appears to be the best course of action. Seeing how the game is directed by Shinji Mikami, the burning of the corpses reflects the process done in Resident Evil Remake.

The Evil Within will be released this October 21 for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
