Perhaps the most anticipated WWE 2K24 DLC has arrived, and they really knocked it out of the park this time. The Global Superstars Pack adds eight long awaited wrestlers with so many new details. Here are 10 of GameSided's favorites:

1. Carlito's Apple is well - cool!

He wouldn't be Carlito if he couldn't taunt and attack his opponent with an apple. You can find it under the ring (there's some great dialogue I won't spoil for you) and spit it at your opponent. And after the attack, there is a visible bite mark on the apple. Even better, you can take repeated bites until you eventually end up with just the core. Carlito won't have to spit at anyone on the design team, because they clearly want to be cool.

2. Jaded Pin Animation

Jade Cargill looks amazing in this game, it's why they used her entrance to promote this DLC.

After hitting her finisher, Jaded, and getting a successful pin she will do her sexy, sexy post pin ritual. Even Jade herself has weighed in on her in-game likeness and given it her official approval. And anyone that has seen Jade destroy her opponents knows you don't want to be on her bad side.

3. The Kabuki Warriors Reunited

With the inclusion of Kairi Saine, now she and Asuka can officially form their tag team, the Kabuki Warriors in game. They get their own entrance, their own unique victory celebration, and a tag team move, the assisted insane elbow. I will probably mess this up a bunch, but I will keep trying until I hit it.

4. Dragon Lee lowering his kneepad to deliver a knee strike

I mentioned this in a piece a while back, but far be it from me to assume you folks read every single word I write. Just as he does in real life, Dragon Lee can lower his kneepad before delivering his devastating knee strike to the head. WWE 2K24 is filled with a million little details like this one, and that's why I love this year's game so much.

5. Michelle McCool has multiple versions of the Faithbreaker

Michelle McCool is back in a wrestling game for the first time since WWE 12. Her finishing move, the Faithbreaker, is a facebuster. Old school villain Col. DeBeers is often credited with its creation. Other wrestlers to use it include DDP and current WWE star A.J. Styles. Since they added Michelle, 2K went ahead and included four versions of the move, which they did not have to do.

6. AJ Styles gets all the new versions too for his Styles Clash

As I mentioned, the Faithbreaker and the Styles Clash are the same move. So A.J. gets all the new versions as well. He still has the Calf Crusher and the Phenomenal Forearm too. So just like the real A.J. Styles, you can finish your opponent from nearly any angle in 2K24.

7. Jade Cargill has approved the game's depiction of her abs

I'm a huge Jade Cargill fan, and this is my list. She gets to be on it twice. The new WWE superstar is known for his incredible abs, and she confirmed that this game gets them right. We've all seen character models that make you ask who that's even supposed to be. This is not one of them. They captured Jade's essence so well people may think you're watching TV when she's onscreen.

8. Dragon Lee's opponents get a unique counter to his finisher

Most of the game's finishers get a generic reversal animation, usually either an elbow to the face or catching the kick before the move. But Dragon Lee, if I may borrow a phrase from Scott Steiner, is not normal! His opponents get an aggressive, flashy counter that dumps him on his face. As any wrestling commentator can tell you, sometimes high risk leads to low reward.

9. Jade Cargill gets a super finisher

Dang it, I told y'all this was my list. Jade Cargill gets to be on it three times. If you aren't aware, super finishers require you to store three finishers for a vastly improved version that turns off the popular resiliency feature. Hers is an avalanche version of Jaded, and if they kick out of this you should probably run.

10. This pack adds 65 new moves!

This is one of the many reasons I love wrestling games. In this line of work, I play a lot of games, and I don't know very many that get 65 moves added in one swoop. That's just this pack. Each one adds a lot, including 24 in the much-maligned Pat McAfee DLC.
