Nashville Predators
Although the Predators may have ended last year’s regular season on a sour note, this year they put all doubts aside as they raced to first position in the division and held that spot for the rest of the year. Nashville were the best team in the entire league, finishing with a total of 109 points.
James Neal and Mike Ribeiro had outstanding seasons, leading the team in goals and assists respectively. New acquisition Cody Hodgson also added 34 points to Nashville’s tally, while Filip Forsberg and Colin Wilson contributed with 50 point seasons too.
In defense, Shea Weber and Roman Josi were the best defensive pairing in the league, scoring a massive 106 points between them. They were backed up by an in-form Pekka Rinne, who finished with a 2.120 GAA and a .928 SV%.
An incredible year for the Predators.
