New Square Enix Game To Be Revealed Soon

As reported by Siliconera, Square Enix’s website lists several games they plan to reveal during Tokaigi 2015, including “New Title.”

The reveal of this new Square Enix game will take place on January 31st at 4:45pm local time. Could this be the new RPG that isn’t a mobile game that Square Enix promised? And is it related to their new console RPG studio in some way?

Square Enix is in an interesting place right now, with Bravely Default as a very strong handheld title and clamor for Bravely Second in the west, and plenty of hype still circulating for the next Kingdom Hearts. Lots of potential, but not a lot of huge announcements currently. For all we know, their next game might not even be an RPG, though that’s most likely. It will be interesting to see what’s up their sleeves this time.

Square Enix will also be showing plenty of other already-known games at Tokaigi 2015, including Theatrhythm Dragon Quest, Bravely Second, Dragon Quest X, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, among others.
