According to Madden, the Panthers don’t have anyone who can stop Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green. Green finished with 189 receiving yards and three touchdowns, which is more yards than the entire Carolina offense had in this game.
This was a fairly forgettable game for Carolina quarterback Cam Newton. His 137 passing yards on a 38 passing attempts, combined with 2 interceptions, were a large part of why Carolina’s offense was unable to keep this game close.
