The Seahawks blew out the Chargers back in the preseason, and San Diego’s fortunes didn’t change much here. The Seahawks had no problem jumping out to an early lead and cruising to an easy win.
Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson completed 25 of 31 passes for 268 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Marshawn Lynch tacked on 121 yards on the ground and a touchdown of his own.
The biggest story from this game was the poor play of San Diego quarterback Phillip Rivers. Rivers completed just 16 of 33 passes, and had 3 interceptions. Had this been a real game, it is likely that Rivers could have been benched before it was over.
