Driveclub Release Date Finally Revealed

Driveclub, aka #DRIVECLUB, has been delayed for quite some time. It was supposed to be a launch title, but has taken some time to develop in order to get just right. Now it appears as though the time is right for the Driveclub release date to be announced, as the racing game will be headed to the PS4 on October 7 of this year.

Revealed through the PlayStation Blog by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, it appears at though the late Driveclub release date is due to being too ambitious within the wants of the game. With Project CARS receiving a November release date, however, it puts Sony and PlayStation in the advantage of being able to show off their racer first. If it impresses well enough, it could be a formidable opponent against the stunning visuals that the multi-platform racer has shown off already.

Driveclub will be released as a PS4 exclusive on October 7th.
