The Wolf Among Us Episode 2, ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ Features Jack

Those who are familiar with the Fables comic book series will recognize that the newest character in The Wolf Among Us’ second episode, “Smoke & Mirrors,” is none other than Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk fame.

That is the official story from the Telltale Games blog, which reminds comic series fans and informs newcomers that Jack has been a featured character in the series since the very first issue. He even had his own spinoff series, titled “Jack of Fables.”

Additionally, they set the stage for protagonist Bigby Wolf to pay a visit to Fabletown’s very own underground “club,” Pudding & Pie, as he searches for answers around the prominent murder that set off  his investigation back in Episode 1 (check out our review).

Telltale Games has also revealed that ETA on Episode 2 will likely come after the holidays, meaning that we are likely to see Smoke & Mirrors hit Steam, Xbox 360, PS3 and other gaming devices in January of 2014. Meanwhile, they also tease the release of Episode 1 of Season 2 of The Walking Dead game coming this month, which might be released on Steam on December 17th.
