Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions

For two teams with such an enormous amount of talent on the offensive side of the ball, it’s surprising that defense was the story of the game between Chicago and Detroit.

The defenses combined to force 11 turnovers and keep each other out of the endzone. It turned the game into a battle between kickers Robbie Gould (Chicago) and David Akers (Detroit). Gould went 3-for-3 while Akers went 1-for-4 as the Bears were able to hold off the Lions for the division win to move to 4-0 on the season. The loss dropped Detroit to 2-2.
